Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a stunning location for exploring the 'real' north of Scotland, with great atmosphere and brilliant service. However, the room pillows were very old and uncomfortable, impacting the overall experience.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with nice room amenities but lacks in the pillow quality department. The excellent tea and coffee facilities in the room help balance out the negatives. The service was top-notch, creating a wonderful stay atmosphere, especially noted for handling late check-ins exceptionally. The location is ideal for exploring the 'real' north of Scotland, though can be noisy due to nearby road traffic. Dining options were satisfactory, particularly for guests with biking plans. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable stay with some areas for improvement.
I had a last-minute stay in one of the 4-bed rooms. The hotel still needs some work on the rooms, but overall, they met our needs, and the breakfast was fresh and cooked just as we liked it.
